Citrus Heights Water District Celebrates California’s Water Professionals Appreciation Week

As part of California’s tenth annual Water Professionals Appreciation Week, taking place October 3-11, Citrus Heights Water District (CHWD) is proud to recognize the dedicated professionals who help provide safe, reliable water to our community every day.

For over 105 years, CHWD has been honored to serve our community. Today, we provide water to about two-thirds of the City of Citrus Heights and portions of Fair Oaks, Orangevale, Carmichael, and Roseville.

“Our employees are the people behind the water service our 70,000 customers depend on,” said CHWD Board President Caryl Sheehan. “Their expertise and commitment to CHWD’s mission help ensure we can continue providing safe, quality water today and for generations to come.”
